This cool drummer bear wears a dark green striped sweater and a newsboy hat that was popular in New York and made from eight quarter panels. His red and blue snare drum is his joy because of the sound that he eminates from his two drumsticks. Due to their ease of use, drums have been part of many religious ceremonies and military pomp and circumstance marches. An actual chicken egg, this ornament is hand-painted in Austria by an artist who spares no detail with the four gold stripes separating the front image from the back image of a Christmas stocking stuffed with lots of goodies. A remarkably decorative keepsake!
