Hinged boxes were created in Limoges, France around 1770 and became popular as Madame de Pompadour and the Tsar of Russia began collecting them. This one can be used to store your baby's first curl and first tooth or other keepsakes.

If there is no color choice, it is not available on that particular ornament. We will do everything possible to catch any mistakes in spelling, etc., but are not responsible if we do as you request, and it is then not correct. The ornament you see above is the way it will look when you get it, except for the personalizing instructions you give us and any optional attributes you select.
