What distinguishes a bass guitar from a regular guitar are mainly the number of strings and pitch. A bass guitar has only four strings and plays at an octave lower than a regular guitar. It plays more of a support role in the band but an important role nonetheless because the bass guitar is the heartbeat of the band and works with the drummer to keep the tempo of the song so you keep tapping your foot to the beat! This personalized electric bass guitar makes a great ornament for someone who plays bass in a rock band, a gifted music teacher or someone who decorates their home for the holidays with a music themed tree.
