A hen's job is to lay eggs, but the hen has also come to symbolize motherhood and the safety of home as she cares for her little chicks in the nest, carefully nudging them out as they grow to be on their own. This personalized hen ornament represents the warmth and safety of home, farm and family. Carefully mouth-blown into a finely crafted mold, a hot solution of liquid silver was poured inside. Finally, this delicate ornament was hand-painted with brightly colored lacquers and glitters for you to enjoy sparkling on your tree.
