This colorful personalized pinata ornament is red, blue, green and gold in color with both the shiny glass finish and glitter covered finish in one ornament! A wonderful keepsake for a child's birthday party or family celebration. While most people believe that the pinata originated in Mexico, it was a Chinese tradition long before it was adopted into the Mexican culture. Made of papier-mache, it is filled with candy and then children take turns hitting it with a stick until it breaks and all of the candy or small novelty gifts come out. Arms and legs flail as the children scramble to get as much as they can before it is all gone! You will love this adorable ornament for a Mexican fiesta or southwest themed Christmas tree decorating.
