The story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer has delighted children since the series of coloring books put out by Montgomery Ward in 1939 for the holidays were in homes. The beloved stop motion animated TV special by the same name has been playing for the holidays since 1964 and introduced characters such as Hermey, an elf who wants to be a dentist, Yukon Cornelius, a prospector seeking gold and silver, and Rudolph's love, Clarice. This trio of ornaments is shatterproof for children to hang on the tree and depict Rudolph standing in front of a tree full of presents, Santa carrying his sack full of toys, and of course the Abominable Snowman standing behind a towering stack of glittery wrapped presents. A true Christmas classic!
