Because turtles are both land and water creatures they have long been associated with adaptation to their environments. Easygoing, patient and wise, turtles come in a wide variety of species including painted turtles, snapping turtles, box turtles, tortoises and diamondback terrapins to name a few. They are linked to longevity because they have been around since the time of the dinosaurs and have adapted to their surroundings to survive when other animal species have not. This personalized turtle family ornament weathers the storms of dysfunctional family life by standing together!
