Print The Words to Your Favorite Carols for Your Very Own Sing-A-Long!
Carols began to gain popularity in medieval England around the 1500s. During the 1600s, the carols took on Christmas themes and after a short decline in use, became the religious anthems of the holidays in the 1800s. Newly composed carols at that time provided common ground for all Christian religions. Today, the carols ring in the festivities of this bustling winter, with some radio stations even going to all Christmas carols for an entire month! The following are the lyrics to some common or fun Christmas carols. Print out the words and make copies for the guests at your next holiday party. Everyone can then join in the merrymaking!
Lyrics:
Baby It’s Cold Outside Frosty The Snowman Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas Here Comes Santa Claus I’ll Be Home For Christmas I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas Jingle Bells Let It Snow Rocking Around The Christmas Tree Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer Santa Baby Santa Claus Is Coming To Town Sleigh Ride Silver Bells We Wish You A Merry Christmas White Christmas Winter Wonderland You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch
RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen
But do you recall, the most famous reindeer of all
Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph, join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say
“Rudolph with your nose so bright, won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”
Then all the reindeer loved him, as they shouted out with glee
Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, you’ll go down in history
