With so many great videos to choose from, putting together a list of the five best Christmas light shows on YouTube was quite the challenge! The time and effort put into creating these inspiring works of holiday art is simply amazing.

While it likely comes as no surprise, I’ve always enjoyed seeing all of the creative decorations and lights that people put out for the holidays.

Some families, however, take it beyond hanging a few strings of lights and placing a PVC Santa in their yard, transforming their homes into a beautiful winter wonderland for all of us to enjoy.

And with the development of YouTube, we’re now fortunate enough to see all of the best Christmas light shows from throughout the country.

I’ve watched quite a few, putting together this list of what I consider to be the best Christmas light shows on YouTube. These picks are guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit, 365 days a year!

Hilarious and Amazing Christmas Light Show 2014

The first Christmas light show to make my list was actually featured on ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight, as well as ABC’s Good Morning America – twice!

Believe it or not, this is actually the homeowner’s second year decorating! All of the props were built by the homeowner using wood, metal, acrylic, and plastic, and it’s estimated that roughly 100,000 lights were used to put together this spectacular display. No wonder this is one of the most popular Christmas light shows on YouTube!

Be sure to keep an eye on the singing trees – their mouths move to the music! Outstanding!

Wawra Christmas Tree Lights Show MIX 2014

This video has earned itself over 3-million views since it was first put on YouTube, but once you see it, you’ll quickly understand why!

The enormous Christmas tree stands at 10’ tall and is decorated with over 7,000 lights. The way the lights are synchronized with the music makes this video incredibly memorable, proving that hard work and dedication really pay off!

The songs included in this mix include “Happy” (Pharrell Williams), “Shake It Off” (Taylor Swift), and “Let It Go” from the Disney movie Frozen.

2015 Johnson Family Dubstep Christmas Light Show

Here’s another amazing Christmas light show that was featured on ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight.

What makes this show unique is that, instead of using traditional lights, they used pixels (similar to stadium Jumbo Tron lights). The end result is an eye-popping performance that looks unlike any other. Just look at all of the colors and effects!

The nontraditional music used in this show makes it feel like you are in the middle of a dance party, and the creative, DIY approach to this unbelievable light show makes for a must-watch video!

Frozen Christmas Lights (Let It Go) 2014

Guess how much this Christmas light show cost to run? I couldn’t believe it when I learned that the electricity required to power this display was just $6 total for the whole season. Talk about energy-efficiency – that’s an accomplishment in itself!

“Let It Go” is from the Disney movie Frozen and appears to be a very popular song when it comes to Christmas light shows.

Did you see the cactus in the middle of the display? It was actually found on the side of the road, but was there long before the homeowner ever set up the display. So cute!

Patriotic Military Tribute with Synchronized Christmas Lights

Get ready to be amazed!

This is an awe-inspiring Christmas light show tribute to the servicemen and women who have sacrificed so very much for our country.

The red, white, and blue LED colors, in tandem with the patriotic symbols, create a stunning salute that represents honor and respect for our nation’s troops. It’s a powerfully patriotic light show that I will never forget!
