We love our pets, and they’re an important part of our families. That’s why I’ve decided to highlight just a few of our dog and cat pet Christmas ornaments, which can be a great way to celebrate the furry members of your family and which also make thoughtful, creative gifts for the pet lovers in your life.
Pet Christmas Ornaments for Dog Lovers
I have seen firsthand through our support of Canine Companions that our dogs are an integral part of our lives. I hope that some of the dog-themed pet ornaments that I’ve chosen will help you show your love for your dog at Christmas.
The Tan Dog with Lights ornament is a great way to show your affection for any dog, but it’s especially appropriate for a new puppy. Every puppy I’ve had has gotten into something that he wasn’t supposed to play with, and this little dog is no different. He’s so full of mischief that he’s gotten himself wrapped up in the Christmas lights, and the bone sitting next to him can be personalized with his name. This ornament is also available with a brown dog, black dog, or white dog so it can accurately represent your pooch.
The Chow Chow ornament featured here is just one example of the many different breed specific pet Christmas ornaments that we carry, and they make a unique gift for that person who really loves a particular breed. All of these ornaments can be personalized with the dog’s name, and we offer ornaments for such diverse breeds as an Australian Sheepdog or a Yorkshire Terrier, as well as mixed breeds like Cockapoos and Labradoodles.
Ornaments for Cat Lovers
If your cats are like mine, they probably want to take an active part in your Christmas celebration – possibly by climbing your tree and making themselves into “ornaments.” Let them know that you’ve got the tree covered by hanging a few of our cat ornaments, many of which are made of resin or clay, which won’t break if kitty decides to rearrange the tree.
The Meow Cat Letters ornament is the perfect way to celebrate your favorite feline. Since my cats get bored with their toys so quickly, I love how this ornament features so many different things to amuse the little black and white cat: a mouse, yarn, a goldfish, and some milk. Because this kitty is so playful, I particularly recommend this ornament for anyone who’s recently gotten a new kitten.
The Snow Couple with Two Cats ornament is a great way to celebrate your whole family, including your fur babies. The best part about this ornament is that it’s highly customizable. You can choose from black, grey, or white cats (or any combination of two of the three), and also personalize these pet Christmas ornament with the names of the people and the cats. This ornament can also feature only one pet (either cat or dog), one cat and one dog, or two dogs.
Of course, if you or someone you love has a passion for some other kind of pet or animal, like frogs, fish, birds, zoo animals, or even dinosaurs, we have an ornament that can be personalized for you.
I’d love to hear your pet’s Christmas story, so feel free to leave a comment telling me about when your dog, cat, or hamster was nice (or naughty) at Christmas.
