Morse Code Gender Reveal Ideas – DIY Personalized Ornament

There are lots of great gender reveal ideas out there!  Some people have a cake baked that is pink or blue inside, while others have a special softball made that when hit, releases pink or blue colored chalk dust.  You will be surprised at how clever, easy and fun it is to carry out gender reveal ideas using Morse code!  So grab a paper, pencil and copy of a Morse code chart and get creative with your reveal saying!

Supplies for Gender Reveal Ornament

• Clear glass ball ornament
• Paint (we used pink and blue)
• Paint marker
• Ribbon
• Morse Code translation
• Paper and pencil

Step 1: Carefully remove the cap on the glass ball ornament and pour paint inside.

Step 2: Swirl the paint around until completely coated on the inside.  Then turn glass ball ornament upside down on a paper towel to drain any excess paint.  Let dry.

Step 3: While the paint is drying, write out the message you want to personalize on the ornament on a piece of paper.  Using a Morse code translation guide, code your gender reveal saying.  We chose to write PINK OR BLUE, DID OUR DREAM COME TRUE? then we added THINK PINK! In Morse Code to reveal the gender! Then using a paint marker, write your message on the glass ball ornament.

Step 4: Tie a baby themed or baby colored ribbon to the cap of the ornament and you are all ready for your big reveal!
