This personalized cactus ornament is all decked out and ready for Christmas. It sits in a decorated pot, has a star perched on top of its peak and is strung with Christmas lights in every color of the rainbow. A plant native to the Americas it thrives in the dry, hot climates such as a desert environment. They are protected from herbivores because of the sharp spines that poke out from its branches, some of which even produce flowers for a period of time. Cacti are leafless and all are characterized by a spiny stem. These prickly plants are often decorated for Christmas in warm weather climates where pine trees are unavailable for the holidays.
