This coal miner is ready to lower himself down the mine shaft to bring forth the black energy source from the earth. He wears a coal miners helmet with a light on it, carries a pick axe in one gloved hand and a bucket full of coal in the other. His overalls are a blue color, his shirt a burnt orange and his gloves grey. It takes a very special person to become a coal miner because it is such dangerous work. Miners have to worry about cave-ins and explosions that cause the walls of the cavern to close in around them, creating a rescue nightmare during a colliery disaster. A personalized miner ornament is a great gift for the guy that you know who tirelessly works in the blackened, sooty mine harvesting coal.

Coal Miner I would give this ornament a 5 stars. I loved this ornament. I requested to see if they could make this in 2011. I wanted my grandson to be able to give his daddy a coal miner for Christmas but they didn't have any that year so I asked them if they would consider making one. Well to my surprise they did make one. So this Christmas I ordered one. My son was thrilled to have it, My grandson (who is 3) said daddy that's you. LOL. So thanks to the powers to be for making this lovely ornament.
