One taste of this layered pasta dish and you know that it takes a lot of spices to get the spaghetti sauce just right to make a lasagna that holds together with layers of meat, ricotta, parsley, parmesan and other Italian spices. This ornament has a placard on the top that permanently reads LASAGNA. It shows a plate with a scoop of sauce and this noodle layered entree sitting on the sauce. On the very top is a final layer of sauce and melted mozzarella cheese adorned with a small tomato and two basil leaves.
