Did you know the original Mr. Potato Head, designed in 1952, had parts that you stuck into an actual potato, and was the very first toy to be advertised on television? Luckily Hasbro created an entirely plastic version with bold and bright pieces in 1964. The resurgence of Mr. Potato Head popularity comes from the Toy Story movie franchise in which Mr. Potato Head uses his detachable parts to help the other toys on their adventures. This personalized shatterproof ornament shows a Santa hat wearing potatohead that has a glittery wreath draped around his body. Makes a great gift for the child who loves playing with his own Mr. Potato Head or for a fan of the Toy Story movies.
