This nativity advent calendar is fun for the whole family! It lets your child add one piece to the manger scene for each of the 24 days of December before Christmas Day! Children who are learning the story of the Birth of Jesus will have fun counting down the days until Jesus' birthday. This cloth calendar hangs from a wooden rod and has 24 pockets sewn on the front. At the beginning of the month, each poly filled piece will be inside the pockets. On each day, a family member will attach one of the pieces to the manger scene. The set of 24 pieces includes Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, the Three Wise Men, shepards, a drummer boy, an angel, sheep, camels, stars, palm trees and a calf. Each piece has a velcro backing for secure attaching to the quilted nativity scene. This is a special gift to give to a religious education teacher, a grandchild or godchild. This is a great gift for a First Communion or Confirmation.
