My son just got his license few months ago. Every year I get an ornament that is personal to him for each year, something that he did/saw in the year he gets it. Only suggestion is to have different colors for car and maybe hat but definitely car. I would've liked to have black car because that is the color car he got. That just makes it all the more personal.

For many years now (10 plus) I have been giving my six grandchildren an ornament for Christmas. I always found something related to each child's interest -- baseball, ballet, computer wiz, driver's license etc. I distributed the ornaments at a family get together celebration on Christmas Eve. Each year I am astonished that I can always find a new ornament to go with each child, or now teenager or my oldest grandson now in college. It's a keepsake to take with them when they travel through life. Finally I bought two for grandma and grandpa, a family Christmas tree with all the grandchildren on it. I also bought an ornament to celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2012. I've never seen any ornaments of this quality and endless subject matter anywhere else. They are beautifully done and very special.
