The Boilermakers got their name from a 44-0 victory against Wabash College in 1891 by a reporter and the name was later adopted by the university. Purdue is located in West Lafayette, Indiana. The University is well known for being a challenging school academically and in athletics. Boilermaker Special Purdue Pete is the school's mascot and he can be found at Mackey Arena, the home court for men's and women's basketball teams. Our personalized Purdue Christmas ornament is a white hooded sweatshirt made out of glass. PURDUE is across the front in gold. A name can be written on the front pocket of the sweatshirt. Kids love hooded sweatshirts so we know they will love this cool ornament! Great graduation gift or for any age Boilermaker fan!

My dad loved this ornament when I gave it to him as a Christmas gift. The only thing I was a little disappointed by was that the personalization looked handwritten. I was expecting it to be printed on the ornament. Otherwise, this was a great quality product!
This is a high quality, licensed ornament. The personalization unfortunately doesn't match the printing exactly (one by hand and one by machine) but it was still loved and a very nice ornament!
