People love ordering a reuben sandwich at the diner for lunch or dinner. This ornament shows the plated sandwich at its best with a placard that reads THE REUBEN on the top and a sandwich cut in half, topped with a pickle spear and two toothpicks poking out of the bread, holding it together. The typical reuben is made with corned beef, swiss cheese, thousand island dressing and sauerkraut sandwiched between sliced of rye bread and cooked on the grill. Sometimes dijon mustard or Russian dressing is substituted for the thousand island dressing. A great addition to a food themed Christmas tree or a gift for someone who loves to order a reuben sandwich at the delicatessen.
