Commemorate a trip you took to visit Sandy Hook, New Jersey with this personalized glass ball ornament.  The Sandy Hook Lighthouse is the oldest working lighthouse in the country and was built in 1764. It was originally built to aid mariners entering New York Harbor.  The artist here used a technique called the reverse painting process to paint the image on the inside of the clear glass ball.  The outside is smooth to the touch and you will not have to worry about the paint chipping off.  SANDY HOOK LIGHTHOUSE is permanently painted on this ornament.  We can personalize it with a name and date.  Makes a great gift for someone who lives in New Jersey.
