My husband started the custom of giving our granddaughters from birth a Christmas ornament based on some event or happening in their life that year. Our oldest is 16 this year and her grandfather has passed on so I am continuing his custom. They all cherish these momentos. He gave the girls his gifts on Thanksgiving day.
